JRP is a professional and environmentally conscious organisation which acknowledges the impact that our operations may potentially have on the environment.
It is the policy of JRP, in accordance with its certification to BS EN ISO 14001, to fully commit to:
- Protect the environment
- Determine compliance obligations and ensure operations are completed in accordance with them
- Continually improve the environmental management system to enhance environmental performance
- Evaluate fulfilment of the compliance obligations
- Implement and maintain an environmental management system that is in compliance with ISO 14001: 2015
- Allocate suitable and sufficient resources to enable the company to achieve its environmental aims
- Prevent pollution, reduce waste, and ensure that, wherever practical, measures are implemented to protect and preserve natural habitats, flora, and fauna, etc
- Consider the effects that our operations may have on the local community
- Promote environmental awareness amongst our suppliers, contractors, and partners
- Complete internal audits and follow a path of continuous improvement
- Ensure that directors and management are fully engaged in the management of environmental issues
- Seek to work in partnership with the community by behaving in a considerate and socially responsible manner
- Ensure effective incident control, investigation, and reporting procedures are in place
- Assess and, where reasonably practicable to do so, reduce the environmental impact of the company’s products and services
We have embarked on our journey to achieve carbon neutrality and are working with a number of organisations such as SME Climate Hub and Achilles to become certified in accordance with ISO 14064-1 (Carbon Reduction Certification) to ensure our policies and procedures reflect the need for more sustainable approach and demonstrating to our clients, partners and workforce that we are committed to limiting the environmental impact of our business activities.
